OK so i saw all the ads promoting Mariah Carey's Liquid Sand Collection which is Limited Edition and it definitely caught my attention! I waited a while and when i was in Ulta I saw and couldn't resist! Instead of buying them all, i decided to just buy one and see how i liked it I believe they retail for $6.00 or $6.50. The collection contains 8 polishes total.
The liquid sand colors are The Impossible which is a reddish color, Can't Let Me Go which is a purple, Get Your Number which is a blue and Stay The Night which is a black with red sparkles in it. Then here come the colors that are in the collection.... A Butterfly Moment which is a pretty nudish color, Sprung which is a brown with gold sparkles, Pink Yet Lavender which is pink/purple chunks of glitter with tiny shreds of silver sparkle and last but not least Anti-Bleak which is this gorgeous purple... I myself purchased the Get Your Number and this is how it turned out on my nails...
Now i dont have a top coat on because it says not to wear one. It also says to put on two coats but i didnt know that and put three because i wanted the blue to pop. BUT i did NOT know about not wearing a top coat OR the two coats until i went to OPI.com and it was posted on the site. So beware! There are no warnings or info about the "instructions" at all!
This picture does no justice! It's Gorgeous! It actually has a "Sandy" texture to it, is matte and the sparkles shine like diamnds! and when you feel your nail u can actually feel the "Sandy" texture!
I just tried it out tonite so i have no info on how well it stays on, chipping, etc but i will be adding the results when i have worn it for a while, so feel free to come back and check it out :) I just wanted you to know what my first impressions were.
I know this review is small but it's my first and i hope to get much better with time.
